Do you ever meet someone you feel like you have known your whole life?
Well Taylor, and her Mom, Kelli are two of those people. They were sweet enough to come to my house for their consultation, which I always appreciate, and we hit it off immediately. Although Taylor and I have several mutual friends, we had not yet crossed paths.
We talked for literally a few hours during her consult and I was just so in love with her and Jeff's love story and their vision for the wedding.
Fast forward a month or two to their engagement session!
When the date for their session was approaching, we actually had some reservations about going through with their session. There was a chance of rain for that day most of the week and it had us looking for partially indoor or covered alternatives. Luckily, as Missouri usually does, the weather changed and we were blessed with a gorgeous evening.
I will be completely honest, Klondike Park is an absolute favorite of mine. It's distinct landscape makes for some remarkable photos. On the other hand, it is SO distinct, that using the park too often can result in similar photo sessions. I had an engagement session at Klondike Park just a few weeks earlier so I knew my priority was beautiful photos, but also different photos.
We started down in an open field that has caught my eye on multiple occasions, and then moved to the iconic lake and bluff. I think we did a great job in getting some amazing and unique images.
OH, and not to mention this couple that are high school sweet hearts, and their adorable puppy Finley. I gave all of them an A+++ on their session.
Last but not least, Taylor's hair and make-up was done by the fab team at STL Glam Co LLC. Taylor was a winner of a giveaway that includes wedding day perks for her and her bridesmaids. I am so excited to be working with STL Glam Co LLC for her wedding day!
